Roadworks
Whitwell High Street will become one-way from Monday 24th June until Friday 5th July 2024 due to being a diversion route for the only access to Ventnor.
We will be open as usual, and below is how you can find us.
The White Horse Inn will be OPEN AS USUAL during these works, and we hope while the roads are closed, it will not affect you too greatly when accessing our lovely pub.

You can still access the White Horse Inn during the one-way system.
From Godshill and Rookley (the north of the Island) you can do so as usual via Whitwell Road, this is going to be one-way in the direction you are travelling. Use our postcode as usual (PO38 2PY)
From Niton, Chale, West Wight and Ventnor (the south and west of the Island) you can access us via a minor diversion via Bannock Road (PO38 2RD)
It is just around the block, so no reason not to stop off at the Isle of Wight’s oldest pub!
